Is it possible Jimmy doesn't want to coach anymore, but has accepted being GM to get Dallas back in the right direction. His first hire ..Norv.

Bringing Jimmy in as GM would mean that we are even further away from the SB. His philosophy differs greatly from BP's, especially on defense. It'll take a couple of years to bring in the smaller / faster players that he covets.

I believe that this is a great idea but is Jerry Jones willing to give up that position?

Kudos for that idea:bow:

It sounds farfetched, Jimmy worships the Florida beaches and Parcells the Saratoga race tracks so neither of those men is going to usurp their time in flat North Texas.

I agree with everyone else. We do need to let the Jimmy J pipe dream go. I would love nothing more than to see him rejoin this franchise in some capacity. It's not going to happen though.
