I don't think he said that he filmed them, but that he had tried to steal signals and he felt that most coaches tried to do that. Barry went as far to say that they did a lot of that at Oklahoma but the Cowboys staff swore Jimmy didn't do that stuff so they didn't.

Did he elaborate on what "tried filming" meant? Like did he actually had some one film defensive signals during the game and used his knowledge gained from it? Or was it tried to film it but didn't get it in film?

Jimmy also went into detail about how he used to have his intern go to the opposing coaches press box and go thru their trash.

Said coaches would throw out game plans and all kinds of stuff. The intern would gather it up and they'd add to the team's file.

Jimmuh is closing ranks with a colleague, just like Tuna did the other night on the radio. Of course, ex-head coaches are taking a line that some current ones can't fess up to.

But in both cases, Tuna and Jimmy, the emphasis was on TRYING to get a read on the opponents defensive signals (which we all know they try to do).

He aid it was tougher when the opponent was on the same side of the field as the press box. Ideally, you wanted to be in the press box so you could zoom in on the signals. I guess that mean they did some filming.
