Seriously, just say by some remarkable twist of fate, if that did happen. Would you be upset or happy ?

I would be happy to see Jimmy but I also know that Jimmy is not the cure all that some seem to make him out to be. The Walker trade did a lot to help the Cowboys rebound and when Jimmy did go to Miami the team was no better under him than it was with Shula. People talk of how great Jimmy was in the draft yet in Miami he drafted 5 RB in a 2 year period and still none panned out which is why Wannstead went after Ricky Williams. What I feel is some are trying to do is relive the past and I don't think that is what Jimmy would bring to Dallas.

The point was not the RB but if Jimmy was the draft guru that some try to make him out as then please explain how he could be so wrong on 5 draft picks in 2 years at the same position? Jimmy had a certain insight at the start of his Pro career because he knew a lot of the college kids from his recruiting days but as the years went past Jimmy draft picks became less than stellar. I do think Jimmy is a great motivator which is his strongest asset and he delegates responsibility to his staff Jimmy did not call plays in Dallas.

To add fuel to the fire: :D

Tony Wise: OL coach
Joe Avezzano: ST coach
Hubbard Alexander: WR coach

I agree 100% on the "Jimmy had a certain insight at the start of his Pro career because he knew a lot of the college kids from his recruiting days" quote.

And also "but as the years went past Jimmy draft picks became less than stellar."

And..."I do think Jimmy is a great motivator which is his strongest asset and he delegates responsibility to his staff Jimmy did not call plays in Dallas."

Hopefully Jeff Ireland could make up for Jimmy's lack of draft knowledge, especially being out of the game for year.

Hey, this is all dreaming anyhow.

I do agree it is a dream and not one I really expect to see happen.

Don't get me going on Chan the Man. I want him back as the head man if BP leaves, forget OC.
