That whole show had gotten old and too long in the tooth. Bradshaw lost his mind a couple years ago, but he still sits there and gibbers. I just got the feeling that Johnson wanted to quit that thing several years ago and for a while was phoning it in from Florida.
He is a smart coach, though, and I always enjoyed his insights.
For a long time, it’s been the best pregame show on television, but it’s time to restructure the thing. I hope that the loss in quality isn’t too big.
