Very much agree.

The players follow the owner.

He constantly polishes his brand and makes things overstated.

Now the players are flooding the TV with commercials and not winning games.

It's a hollow image that does not meet expectations.
And “The Star” is not conducive to building hard nosed, tough football players. Too much pampering.

Really??? He took a 9-7 team from Shula and promptly went 8-8 with it. BTW, he had some scrub named Dan Marino as his QB...

So you are saying Jason Garrett would do as well as Shula and Jimmy?

Not sure how many segments he was on but here’s one

Loved Jimmy and I miss him. The players feared him so much that it got us 3 Superbowls.

Garrett always has the same message with this team year in and year out. It just gets old and the players know that.

I think there may be something to the stories that Jerry's influence has kept Jimmy out of the HOF.

Jimmy is way more politically correct about the Cowboys than he has been in the past. He's talking around the edges of the issues and he won't say anything critical of Jerry or really even Garrett.

Everything Jimmy said was pretty spot on but every time the hosts tried to get him to talk about deeper issues, Jimmy tap-danced.

Jimmy's playoff losses in Miami are legendary!!! Probably the worst back to back playoff losses in the history of the NFL! (38-3 & 62-7)
Love how the same people who like to point Jimmy's lack of success with the Dolphins will completely ignore Jerry's 24 years of ineptness without a roster built by Jimmy.
