I mean is anyone surprised? Our best run under Jerry was when the HC has a lot of authority on personnel decisions. Once Jerry took that over, our franchise found itself wandering aimlessly in the desert. Jerry likes to pretend that he was a driving force in those early 90s teams, but the reality is, he was not.

In reality, the pair produced good results together, and they also couldn't live with each other.

Subsequently, neither produced the same or even close to the same results without the other.
