Our championship general (Jimmy Johnson) said it best yesterday during the FOX halftime show when asked if Tony Romo could help this team during yesterday's game. Jimmy says this: "Yes, absolutely Romo can help this team right now but it's not at QB because this game is out of reach. There are opportunities at coaching special teams, coaching defense and coaching offense. Right now these are the only places Tony Romo can help this team right now!". Boy o boy did Jimmy spill the beans on this teams coaching in that answer. He's right and man did he have fire when he answered the question, more so than what i've heard out of Wade, the other analysts and even Jerry Jones yesterday. Jimmy is still very pationate about this game folks and he's rested.

Nah-he's turned down numerous coaching and GM jobs since he quit Miami.

Passionate? Yes-but I think he's content with where he's at now b/c he's having alot of fun.

hell frezes over was the name of an eagles album.

if hell froze once there's always a chance

He also said some HARD words at the POST game how..

"The dallas cowboys are a SLOPPY football team!

Sad but... TURE :(

Every former Cowboys player and coach that was part of a championship team needs to come to the locker room with bats and chains and kick some arse on the current crop of players and coaches. These guys need a serious dose of "you aren't living up to expectations" buttwhoopin!

It's funny, the ex-players like Irvin and Nate Newton kept saying how happy they were that Wade let them back into the "family" because he felt their experience would be helpful... But all they do is bash him. How about if they put some accountability on these players?

Yes Sir! It's both the coaches and players. But what it comes down to is that these players don't have a coach who can get the best out of them regardless if these players are the type to respond or not, the coach has to be smarter than them. Stronger than them. Have that will that makes them feel like they'd get blown out the water by the "mastermind". Jimmy had a bunch of convicts but he got every ounce out of them and turned those thugs into leaders. They still loved him and respected his clean cut bad asss approach because he understood them all and how to get them to respond. Irvin and Haley could have run jail blocks much more than an Adam Jones, Tank Johnson or T.O could. But Jimmy had them focused on game day. Irvin snapped when Jimmy took off. Listen to Irvin, Emmit, Aikman, Nate, all of the other players of the 92 and 93 teams talk about Jimmy. They knew hell was a coming when they didn't produce/respond. They feared and respected Jimmy! Wade gets neither and none of these players would squack if Wade was gone. The players are starting to rub the coaching staff. Parcells used to always say, don't let the inmates run the assylum. Well, this coaching staff isn't running this assylum. By the way, I'm not saying Jimmy is going to coach us. Just saying the guy ismore fired up about this teams play than the current coaches and even looked more fired up than a pissed off Jones yesterday.

 Oh please.

So Jimmy is wrong? I guess you're impressed with this coaching staffs results? You think Wade sounds more fired up than ole Jimmy did yesterday? Did you hear what Jimmy said and did you see his mannerism? I hear Wade's conference after the game yesterday and his press conference today. No fire, no answers. All "I think we can, we'll try, maybe". That's what I hear out of Wade. "I don't think it's a personnel thing". LOL, no it isn't just that, it's that and alot of others and it all comes down to coaching these players beyond their capabilities whether they want to or not. That's what they get paid for and that's especially what the GOOD COACHES get payed to do, GET PLAYERS TO OVER ACHIEVE. The players don't want to respond, MAKE THEM RESPOND. It's not a positive response, make it one. Demand dominance, dictate like a real general, a real coach would. Force these players into success, it is possible if you make no other options. Only player Jerry needs to re-sign at this point is Ware. I saw Zach Thomas getting riled up and Ware was trying to calm him down. Screw it! Finally the man is trying to do what the coaches aren't, fire players up! Give me that type of Jimmy fire, anywhere I can get it right now.
