Mickey Spagnola, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said the notion that the team will allow RB Julius Jones to leave via free agency is not a foregone conclusion.

Spags got that from a Friday morning radio interview. I wouldn't put much into it. Jerry said it, but based on the tone the comment seemed more out of respect to Julius than anything concrete. It's not unlike Jerry to do that in this situation.

Even if the market didn't allow Julius to hit big, I don't see him returning to Dallas.

Julius had to sit on the sideline even when Barber was worn out, because he wasnt good enough for a playoff game. With only 3 carries theres no way he stays after that.
