Definitely not a good thing for a football player... Especially at that position. Sounds like a potential herniated disk situation. That could linger much more so than a torn ACL. On top of that he'll lose some strength over the course of the two-month layoff meaning when he comes back he'll not only have missed all of training camp but he won't be in top-notch physical condition either.

Big blow for the Texans.

JJ Watt has new cleats out.

They're called like, the JJ 1s. Should be the JJ8-8s. Hot Air JJs.

How do they work for chopping wood in a forest alone in your work clothes?

I don't chop my own wood. I hire someone else to do it. He even delivers the wood and stacks it in the wood rack for me on my patio. Used the same guy for several years now.

If he's getting surgery for a herniated disk, he's not going to have a good season this year. And watch, he'll probably have to address it again some time in the future too.
