At most, this proves ithat we were starting guys who don't belong in the NFL.......might explain a lack of success.

McClain for the league min would be a nice. He was a good player when he was healthy

He played well enough for a 4 yr 21 million contract last season. You really have to do some major mental gymnastics for that one.

I think folks assume that b/c he's starting for the Dallas Cowboys, he must be good. I can't think of one guy not named Terrence Newman who started for us, left, and had success. Amendola is another one but he never started for us or was ever given a chance to play.

Mcclain was our second best defensive player in 16, he's worth more then min, believe he was in a 3 4 system and he definitely didn't thrive in that system, consider how weak our dt position is especially 1 tech, would love resigning this guy, can't imagine it would be to much.

With Wittens now gone , Cowboys are at a total of 28 Million dead cap . How is much free cap space left to sign people? Thats a lot of cake to waste .... just think of the additions that should of been used on.
