I can't help but reflect on how this board as a whole felt when Sean Peyton left to go to NO. I believe the quotes were "great and take Zimmer with you"

Now I see that Saprano and Haley have been offerred OC jobs in other cities. But people feel about them the same way they did about Sean last year.

I do not know who JJ should pick and I'm happy that he is getting advice from the previous stars and coaches. I trust their advice more than ours. Who knows maybe the coach that we are CERTAIN will be a bust will actually be exactly the coach for this situation.

Just remember Sean, NO and what we thought of him before this year!

I think tthe largest sentiment is just get rid of them all and let the new coach hire his coordinators and coaches.

I miss sean now, but was glad hes gone. As stories come out now, its clear Parcells was holding his coordinators back and was the reason Sean and Mike sucked so much.

But in any event, a house clearing is good and sometimes in clearing a house you throw away something you did not mean too. I think we did not mean to jettison Sean, but whats done is done. Lets move on and hire a young coach with fire, passion and energy to last 10 years. (provided his record keeps him around 10 years).

My point Ashwynn is that whoever the coach is that we bring in there will be people who say "he sucks" or "I just threw up" but they don't know if he will really be good or not.

We have to hope that the advice by people who have worked with whatever coach we hire is good and they are a fit for this team. It is not something that we can tell from our sofa's with a frosty one in our hand :D

well, with Parcells around, i'm sure none of our remaining guys reached their fullest potential. The fact that Bill thinks highly of them and the fact that other teams are pursuing them, they must have something. Hell why let them go now if they're still under contract. If we feel that the new coach, if he's hired within the next two wee, is going to have a hard time putting a staff together, well we need to keep them here and at least give that coach a chance to talk with them.
