Q: Has Andre Gurode been doing anything this off-season to improve his shotgun snaps?

TAYLOR: Like every player, he's working on things he needs to improve this off-season. He would tell you that getting more consistent with his snaps probably has more to do with making a concerted effort to keep his hands from getting sweaty during the game than anything technical he needs to do. It sounds obvious, but during the heat of the game – with all that's swirling around him – keeping his hands dry isn't always at the forefront of his mind.

I'd die if he wasn't working on shotguns...he's a pro, they work on what they are bad at.

The sweaty hands thing is kind of funny, sounds silly, but when I played flag I couldn't keep my hands dry and couldn't throw the ball. Its dumb, but I think I can believe it.

Yeah, I don't understand why it's such a problem. I don't know much about the specifics of playing center, but is there any drawback to wearing gloves?

Gloves make it so you can't grip the ball as well.

Some players don't mind them. Others can't stand them.
