JJT: Spears To The Bench

French guy just said on SW Kia Sportstalk he thinks Spears definitely will be coming off the bench; starting will be Tank in the middle, Ratliff DE, and of course, Canty on the other end.

Bright side is that it gives them qulity depth off the bench.

I think this was the rotational trend we were seeing in TC, but looks like almost a done deal.

I'm sure that some folks will see this as an indication that Spears is no good. But what I believe is that Tank is showing that he's a beast and forcing the staff to get him more snaps. This guy has some ungodly skills for someone his size.

Stupid Title. I'm not a huge fan of Spears, although he pulls his weight verses the run, but with what we're doing defensively for some positions, "starting" is just a word. May the best group win for whomever we play on Sunday.

Hopefully, if Spears does get benched, we don't hear him ask "What's my role here?" Too many times when someone gets benched they get demoralized, their play declines even further and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Let's hope that doesn't happen here.
