I agree with Sarge. Plus, all teams will play this card of not being sure who their starter is. They will ho and hum and say they aren't sure right up until they need to.

I tend to agree. Honestly, I think a lot of teams have been very liberal with the "concussion" diagnosis. The guy gets a headache, bam, it's a concussion. Technically, the brain has to smack against the inside of the skull to be labeled a true concussion and after seeing that hit he took, I'm not sure he's got a true concussion. I think maybe he's just weak.

Or maybe he has a concussion. I really don't care. Whoever they put out there is going to be the meat in a Demarcus Ware-Tank Johnson sandwich.

The game is still a couple of weeks off I would be surprised if Anderson is not starting and I think Dallas will prepare for Anderson to be in the game

As of 8/26 Update..

Browns QB Brady Quinn will probably start his second straight preseason game as Derek Anderson deals with a mild concussion.

Browns coach Romeo Crennel won't rule out Anderson for Thursday's game until after Tuesday's practice. Crennel may start preparing Quinn for the regular season opener but wants to wait until next week before making that decision.

I don't doubt they have Anderson listed as questionable leading up to the game but come game time I have a feeling we will see Anderson.

I think he playes, has this week to rest and another week to get ready to play. This is going to be a tough game, I saw the Browns play some games last year and kept waiting for them to loose and what I saw was a very solid team. Winslow is going to be a matchup problem for us.

We'll see.... Teams are being more cautious than ever with these concussions. The NFL is now taking it very serious. Look what they did for precaution for Ware when he got kicked in the head. The NFL has new guidelines.

I really don't care if he plays or not because they don't worry me. Their defense can not stop our offense, in any manner, so they'll have to try and outscore us which they will not be able to do.

Rather it's Anderson or Quinn I'm not afraid.

Have you ever seen Brady throw or are you just hoping he throws like Chad?

You see a couple of Bowl games with Quinn and inferior offensive talent and he chokes? Quit toking...

Typical Notre Dame fan boy, go another 13 years without winning a bowl game. What a worthless program.

I agree but coaches are not going to tell you straight up that a guy is not going to play this far out. They will list him as questionable but we are talking a slight concussion. Hell they are not even ruling him out of this Thursday game according to reports so why would you think 10 days after that he will not play? Regardless Dallas has to prepare to face him and study him as if he will be starting

Difference is, the Cowboys won Super Bowls in the 90's, Notre Dame hasn't won jack since the 80's, the Cowboys also have a legitimate chance this to win, Notre Dame doesn't.

I'm not really concerned with who plays for Cleveland, Dallas is the better team but that will be a tough game regardless.

Unless Anderson is experiencing any lingering side effects a day or so before the game, it should be expected that he'll be the starter that game.

I like how the Browns did absolutely nothing in the offseason to improve one of the worst secondaries in the league last year. I predict both Owens and Witten go for 100+ yards and Romo throws for 350+.
They improved their front 4...by this board's standards that would be a ton.

Uh yeah..... You are a obvioulsy a misinformed dweeb....

Brady has a cannon. As much as I like Romo... Tony has nothing on Brady's arm.

You smoke his cannon often?
