Dang!! That's a lot of picks. You may want to flip Allen w/Joseph b/c he's starting to steam up the boards. No backup center but 3 OL. Jason Williams could probably play OLB in a pinch (bit small), I would definitely take it.

i think you could flip flop a few players, but if we can get 3/4 of the players i have picked i would be all for it,

and what i heard jerry jones in his press conference yesterday, he is planning to trading down the 2nd or 3rd pick, possibly acquiring a future pick next year in one of those picks too

also, if you noticed, jerry said the 4th pick was a war daddy, since its the first pick in the 4th round, i expect that pick to get some calls for trading up for it, the first pick of each round always gets some calls to trade up picks for it,

so really watch the 3rd pick this year, which is the 5th pick overall in 3rd rd
and watch for trading with the 4th pick from detriot,

and if you noticed pretty well, stephen seemed to incline that he anticipated to keeping all 11 picks,

yeah i understand what your saying Bat, jets have been bad at picking pass rushers; but who is their head coach now Bat, ravens former defensive coordinator right and i do believe he knows some things about defenses;

The Ravens haven't hit on a pass rusher since Terrell Suggs. That is a while back too. Ryan can coach, but not sure about his talent acquisition, yet. We'll see. And the GM is still the same guy if I recall, only Mangini was let go.

Maybe so. But that's why I think the Cowboys have looked at several outside linebacker candidates, so they have a backup plan in case he is gone.

Veikune would most likely be there and I think he'd be a nice fall-back option.

I think we trade up to get the G or WR we want in the 2nd round. Then we trade up again into the 2nd to get the Safety we want.

i think honestly we will have about 9 picks in this draft, we will trade at least 2-3 out of the 11 we have, but just in case what stephen jones said about using all of the draft picks, then i went with that;

im thinking what stephen was saying that this year the cowboys plan to have some extra picks in the 5th to 7th rounds, so they can draft a few players that would have been free agents,

that way they wouldnt have to contend with the other 31 teams in signing bonuses etc;

just a hunch;
again what i think the cowboys will do it trade either the 3rd or 4th rounder and recoup a 3rd or 4th rounder in the 2010 draft. Possibly both picks since both are high picks at the top of the rounds, the 3rd from cleveland and the 4th from detroit. Like Jerry Jones said, the 4th pick is a war daddy.

I also think the cowboys will trade or package greg ellis, or crayton or mcquistan or carpenter to get a better draft pick they like;

yeah but the kid from tech isnt that fast, 4.56 in 40, thats slow, and if he has to cover a slot wr, the slot wr will tear him up to me

its kinda like brian stewart, whom i didnt particullary care for as our defensive coordinator, but he said which makes alittle sense, you cant judge the tech kid too much because plenty of times, texas tech had teams on their heels throwing to catch up, so the safety was playing center field and like fielding punts for inteceptions;

id rather have a safety that has some speed, that has shown in crunch time, he can cover deep one on one and make the big interception;

lol bear, i was going off of what stephen jones said buddy, i just get the ideal that the cowboys want to load up at the back end of the draft, and get players that will be undrafted,

that way, the cowboys wont have to compete with 31 other teams and get the players they want.

but my final mock will have 8-9 players, thats where i think the cowboys will be, at 8-9 draft picks to draft players in lower rounds and are special teams players;

This kid also played corner. And his left & right "turn & run" was faster than Chung's.

understand that, but we saw how roy williams safety whom was slow at 4.53 in 40 we saw how he continually got burned deep

id rather have a safety with 4.48 speed or better in 40 like polymalu or ed reed or safety from colts;

its like belicheat coach of the patriots said; in todays schemes with the 3-5 wrs sets, the in box safety is outdated, the big hybrid safety;

you need a safety with speed now that can cover the slot wrs, etc, or you will get burned;
