Joe Buck

I was so much happier when the World Series was going on and Buck was off the telecast. Between gushing over the Steelers, deadpanning the Cowboys success and sounding disappointed/making excuses over Steelers failures I was reminded of Al Michaels, a Giants fan, calling a NYG game.

Thing is that Buck seems a fan of any team playing the Cowboys.

At least we didn't get the faux disgust moralizing this time around.

There aren't many people I despise more than Joe Buck. But no way is he the same as Al Michaels. I always enjoy when he calls our games with Collinsworth.

Lol, smh.

Do you have proof the Steelers fanbase think Joe Buck loves them?

You need to learn the meaning of the word doubt. I intentionally did not make my statement a declaration.

I take it you don't have proof of other fan bases feeling either.

Aikman annoyed me with how often he brought up the Dak fumble in the first half... like it happens, it's not like it was a turning point, that early. Get over it.

Fuzzy, I love you bro, and you know it, but 187 is dead on. Buck is arrogant and pretentious to all fan bases.

Announcers get gruff from us because we have been mediocre for the last 20 years and they must remain neutral, so it goes against us two-fold.

Phil Simms is another announcer who gets a hell of a lot of hate (@xwalker :)) but if you just sit back and listen to him, he's comic relief :)

With all due respect, Fuzz

Hey I welcome contrary opinions. No need to be apologetic because you don't agree with me.

I'm fine with Simms. He does appeal to LCD with his diction but I actually learn things from time to time from him. Same with Aikman.

I want my talking heads to either get me into the game emotionally with their call and takes, Brad Sham, or to teach me something. Buck does neither of those things.

Dallas has not "figured" out how to use Zeke like Bell yet. Which is correct but also both Zeke and Dak are rookies, 1st year runners will have a smaller playbook at first and it will expand as things are "figured" out. No team is going to fill their playbook with all the plays they want from day one until their rookie runner shows success.

Yeah Aikman was talking about Elliott in the passing game. Of course Zeke soon after takes a screen to the house for delicious irony.

I don't necessarily disagree with Troy but I think a lot of that is on 21 as well. He did miss a lot of camp and preseason and I think that impeded his progress.

I doubt Steelers fans think so after this week. Have any proof of this assertion?

I read message boards and listen to radio. Everyone thinks that Joe has some secret bias against their team but it's just the way that he commentates.

We are talking about Buck's call of a Cowboys game and it gets moved?

I'm really thinking on moving on from this place.
