Here is a tip.

Be a cowboys fan. Listen to Brad, Babe and Kristie. Not only are they light years better than any tv crew they have better information and its a more informative broadcast.

I always like Bill Jones as well. I've met Brad Sham several times, and he's a really nice guy.

Nothing I don't care about them at all, I watch the games, listen to this tool talk, and formed my own opinion. Now I've shared it with you all and the fact that I didn't start the thread tells me I'm not alone in this opinion and am most likely in the majority as this thread pops up a few times a season and conversations along these line irl.

most of these commentators are just trying to keep everybody happy and give some love to each team,,,, sometimes this leads to disingenuous or incorrect statements. I would guess that the sudden emergence of the Cowboys and their magical rookies has many opposing fans seeing red because of the effusive praise and constant coverage of the team,,, a million hate tweets and emails flood in complaining about it I'm sure, lol, and some commentators are trying to appease them.

Couldn't hear him over the giant gathering at the house and the loads of cheering booing with every play. That's one of the best things about the thanksgiving game.

That makes sense. I really don't care either way. Not looking for effusive praise for the team, but it can be grating when it seems forced*

Exactly. I don't necesssrily need validation, but when a mass of people arrive at the same conclusion independently there's like some truth to it. As far as other fans feeling the same way it's likely by design. Which while it doesn't make our experience unique, supports the idea it's being done.

then you are missing out. No analyst is as good as Babe and they do not broadcast as homers. The guys in oakland and minnesota do that our guys are pretty down the middle. Plus Kristie has tons of info from the sideline.

he is a tv guy. Calls preseason games though with babe on tv.

CBS11 used to be great with Babe, Bill, Steve and Gina. Now its basically just a weather station like every other local broadcast and it sucks.
