The Baltimore Ravens and Joe Flacco have done a little business ahead of the start of free agency.
Flacco signed a new three-year contract extension on Wednesday, the team announced. The new deal would keep the quarterback under team control through the 2021 season. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that it's a three-year extension, worth $66.4 million. Flacco will receive a signing bonus of $40 million in the new deal.

Dude is still racking in the cash off one good playoff run.
lol

Come on now.

Last year he was
30th in QB rating
25th in yards
26th in TDs
29th in yds/att

surely that warrants a new contract and 44mil guaranteed!

Flacco doesn't have many options at WR except Steve Smith who was injured most of last year either. If they get him some weapons I'm sure he'll return to form.

Joe has made it to the playoffs every single year except for 2013 and 2015 since he came into the league in 2008. Won the SB in 2012. The guy is good.

He's also erratic, ask anyone who's ever owned him in fantasy.

He is still overpaid. But that is the cost for winning the SB.

I would gladly take the Ravens last 5 years and next 5 years compared to ours.

In 15 playoff games, these are Joe Flacco's stats

3,233 yards, 25 TDs, 10 INTs, 88.6 QB Rating

That's better than a lot of guy's REGULAR SEASON stats through a 16 game season.

I know that we don't like to acknowledge any other team's player as being good, but his postseason success and stats don't lie.

That is very average. Not top QB money type stats.

He just won at the right time. Kirk Cousins did the same thing on a smaller scale.
