Joe Flacco to Portray Johnny Unitas in "Unitas We Stand" Movie

Wonder if he'll rock Johnny U's famous flat-top buzz cut. And isn't Flacco a little too big to be playing Johnny Unitas? He was 6'1 and 195 lbs. Flacco is 6'6, 245.. should be interesting to see how it turns out.

And now the family is feuding that Flacco is a terrible decision lol.

"John Unitas Jr. called Flacco a "goofball" in comments about the movie to USA Today Sports on Sunday and said he is considering taking legal action if Joe Unitas makes any profits from his father's name."

"If you want a quarterback, go with Peyton Manning," he told USA Today Sports. "My father was just like that. This is a joke."

His son, J.C., ripped Flacco's casting in a post on his Facebook page, writing that it is an "embarrassing choice," according to USA Today.

According to USA Today, J.C. Unitas wrote: "My grandfather and his legacy deserves only the best, and this is not it. Has Baltimore forgotten that Trent Dilfer also won a Super Bowl while playing for Baltimore?"

Haha wow. This family seems obsessive over their father.

Hope Flacco is a better actor than Favrrre.

Might be a trivial point but does the NFL allow for current players to appear in media wearing the logos of other NFL teams? Can Joe Flacco be in a movie and wear Colts stuff?
