Joe Horn Wants To End Career With Dallas Or Eagles..

Joe Horn said on The Dan Patrick Show that he'd like to continue his career with the Eagles or Cowboys.

Horn isn't an obvious upgrade over any of Philadelphia's top five receivers (Kevin Curtis, Reggie Brown, Jason Avant, Hank Baskett, DeSean Jackson) and can't play special teams like Greg Lewis. Philly is almost certainly not interested. Horn's ideal landing spot should be with the Cowboys, but Dallas is unlikely to trade anything for him. They'll wait for him to be cut.

I would prefer that he just end his career. Something about the way Sean Payton let him go lingers in the back of my mind. I suspect this guy is not a team player, nor very good anymore. Just a hunch.

I just don't see him ending up here unless all of the young guys prove they can't play.

Nope. He had a pro-bowl year in 2004 with 94 receptions, 1399 yards and 11 TDs. That was with Aaron Brooks as the QB for the Saints. Few people consider Brooks a decent QB.

With more than decent QB Drew Brees in 2006, Horn only managed to play in 10 games, but he did end up with 37 receptions, 679 yards and 4 TDs. Those are decent totals for 10 games, but not that great of a year.

Or, knocking on wood, any injury but if he wants to end his career in Dallas I'd prefer he call the Desperados. :D

there isn't a single Cowboy receiver I would cut to give Joe Horn a spot(not even the developmental Lowber). Horn is every bit the injury risk that Terry Glenn is, and he has a big mouth ta' boot!

I seriously don't see how Joe Horn can make this team. He should try to sign on with the Commanders.

I thought he ended his career a couple of years ago.

I can't seem to forget the cell phone incident or the sliding down the goal post.

Um, am I the only one a little annoyed by "Horn isn't an obvious upgrade over any of Phillys top 5"?

But he is obviously better then ours?

:banghead:

Call me crazy, but Phillys wr's are not exactly awe inspiring...

Just when we finally put the Terry Glenn subject to final rest, we are back on to the Joe Horn thing. Once again, I hope that Jerry wouldn't even think about bringing him here.

I agree. Why would we pick up Joe Horn when we could sign Terry Glenn? BTW, you need to change that disgusting looking avatar. :D

Patrick Crayton >>>>>>>> Joe Horn

I think Miles Austin is >>>>> Joe Horn too
