If Trysten Hill isn't showing enough to beat out the DT's who were active and did nothing today, we should all be worried.

yup...didn't like what I saw in the pre-season. Thought he came into camp kind of out of shape. Still...in that last pre-season game I thought you saw a few flashes....but definately expected more from a 2nd rounder.

Jackson was likely active because he has position flex as the last active DL so he could back both spots - something Taco and Hill don't have.

You guys really need to get used to this embarrassment of riches stuff.

Hill is a bottom of the 2nd guy picked largely as RKG with SPARQ. Crawford, Covington, Collins, Hyder, and Woods aren't bums. Hill has development to do. It's way to early to worry about Hill.

Taco, on the other hand, hasn't performed after a long time. A failure of our scouts to pick him, our coaches to motivate and develop him, and Taco to motivate and develop himself.

Seems like all of our top draft picks for the DL are for development and not suppose to do anything for the first year or 2. While everyone else's hits the ground running. Something needs to change.

Daniel Wise, Daniel Ross and whoever #68 was, all outplayed him in all preseason games. He is soft.

He’s soft as of September 9th 2019. Things can change. I won’t wrote him off yet.

I agree that he won't see a second contract here but they aren't cutting him next off-season. This FO will not admit they messed up that fast.
