Just read about Brian Gaines asking to leave and felt a little sick over losing another talent scout.

Then I was listening to the Talkin Cowboys podcast and Mick was naming some coaches whose contracts were up and one of them was Joe Jurasik.

I am now in near panic mode of losing Jurasik!

I really give him a lot of the credit for developing our younger players and for the run of good health our team has enjoyed the last couple of years.

Why Bill? What about the code?

Joe Juraszek has been in Dallas since 97. He came from Oklahoma, he has old ties to oklahoma and to us.

I dont think he is going anywhere, he is well liked by the organization and the players.

We have an assitant strength and conditioning coach in Tony Ollison, he has been here since 2000.

I dont think either will leave although they need new contracts.

I don't like people referencing the "code." The code applies to coaches from the same tree. Wade is not from the same tree as Bill. So Bill can take all the staff, Players, or Free Agents he wants from here, he does not feel obligated to owe Wade or the Cowboys anything. I assume he feels a little resentful for our success (if his puppet Keyshawn is to be believed).

I am not sure about Jurasik??, I am not really familiar with all the inner workings of the coaching staff and small role assistants and such.

Switzer had a big hand in bringing Juraszdek here if I remember correctly. To stoke the paranoia however, I will bring up one thing: I recall Jerry stating in one of his shows earlier this year that Parcells had made it a point to say that Juraszdek was the best strength and conditioning coach he'd ever been around in the NFL in all his years.
