Yep! First it was Cooper Rush, then it was Trey Lance, then it was Will Grier, then it was Milton...next will probably be Sam Howell, for the ever growing list of QBs that cerain fans on here thought should take Dak's job. Funny enough, none of which are starting material for 31 other clubs.

when all the cuts were made on day 1,teams did their jockeying and used up what they felt were reasonable moves of dropping players to claim others. NOw, Milton is cut and teams really werent willing tothen drop other players to add milton.Im paraphrasing. Butbasically, this was their plan and gamble they were willing to make.So far, that plan ison schedule. If Milton does sign back to the practice squad...then that shows that was exactly their plan.He also said, maybe a team didoffer a late pick, like a 6th or7th, and dallas said no, because they wanted him back and didnt want a crap 7th for Milton, in hopes they could execute their plan and get him back. Im paraphrasing here, but that is basically his point.

He's a quarterback. If a team really sees serious potential in a QB, they move mountains to make room.

They don't, so they didn't.

It doesn't make any sense that some teams were interested in him for a trade, but weren't interested when they could get him for nothing.

I do believe the late cut was strategic with most teams already making their waiver moves, but it is kind of shocking that no team felt he could at least make their 53.

That is exactly what fisher was saying. They gambled, and when they released him was strategic.

He MIGHT be butthurt,...but who knows. Could be a variety of things. If he is you really couldn't blame him. He like any other NFL player is chasing a dream,...which is honorable. Players have feelings and ego's too,.....they are Human just like anyone else.

As this day has gone on I'm surprised he didn't get claimed, and now I'm surprised it is 9:00 pm CT, 6 hours after be cleared waivers and he hasn't signed to the PS, or sign with anyone's PS. I wonder what's going on? Are they going to sign him or does he not want to sign or is he just not good enough for anyone?
