The season really needs to start soon. Joe Milton is generating long topics that go 10, 20, even 30 pages or more.
Well they want him to do that, but the question is will he.If he signs in the practice squad, that shows that was exactly their plan.
What's going on is that he can sign with Dallas, but he is thinking about it and what other offers he might have.As this day has gone on I'm surprised he didn't get claimed, and now I'm surprised it is 9:00 pm CT, 6 hours after be cleared waivers and he hasn't signed to the PS, or sign with anyone's PS. I wonder what's going on? Are they going to sign him or does he not want to sign or is he just not good enough for anyone?
Will he be back in Dallas?
well, apparently if he does sign with anyone, it will be on the practice squad. If that is the case, what practice squad would be better for him than Dallas?Well they want him to do that, but the question is will he.
So I guess more specifically if the Cowboys said they want him back then what's the hold up because 31 teams just passed on him. How many offers could he be thinking about? If someone wanted him it's a low contract waiver claim. What's going on is that he can sign with Dallas, but he is thinking about it and what other offers he might have.
None in my opinion, but I'm not him. In Dallas he doesn't have to move and he keeps his coaches and teammates. He wouldn't have to start over with a new system with new coaches and teammates. That makes Dallas the favorite.well, apparently if he does sign with anyone, it will be on the practice squad. If that is the case, what practice squad would be better for him than Dallas?
He could have several offers. No way for us to know.So I guess more specifically if the Cowboys said they want him back then what's the hold up because 31 teams just passed on him. How many offers could he be thinking about? If someone wanted him it's a low contract waiver claim.
No. Now anything he is being offered is practice squad. The waiver claims that would have put him on a roster have passed, so it's doubtful any team would want to put him on a roster when they could have just claimed him. I think questions about his ability to be consistent mean no one thinks he's worth more than a PS spot for now. Apparently, Dallas was right about that or at least by waiting they cleared out any teams that would have claimed him for a spot on their roster. So I guess more specifically if the Cowboys said they want him back then what's the hold up because 31 teams just passed on him. A good look was him in camp and the preseason games. Not a good look if the only pictures of a guy playing quarterback are those of him running with the ball tucked.
So I'm wondering why he hasn't been signed to our PS. Either he is butthurt about being cut or Dallas doesn't want him back. But Schotty said they do want him back so it seems like Joe is holding up the show. So he may be trying to decide between which PS he wants to be on, if there are any other offers.No. Now anything he is being offered is practice squad. from what I read, practice squad players all make the same amount. So I guess more specifically if the Cowboys said they want him back then what's the hold up because 31 teams just passed on him. How many offers could he be thinking about? If someone wanted him it's a low contract waiver claim.
I never heard a single negative spoken about the guy in his time in Dallas. So I'm wondering why he hasn't been signed to our PS. Either he is butthurt about being cut or Dallas doesn't want him back. I am surprised about this. Something feels off. For a guy who put up close to 400 yards, 3 TDs, and no TOs in the preseason is not even on a PS for any team. That's weird to me. Am I the only one who thinks it's weird he hasn't signed with any PS yet? It would be in his best interest to sign and get on a plane and get to the new city and get to work. This seems off to me
Schottenheimer was very vocal about wanting to bring him back if no one claimed him if he wants to return but my guess is his agent is seeing what options are available out there first. As this day has gone on I'm surprised he didn't get claimed, and now I'm surprised it is 9:00 pm CT, 6 hours after be cleared waivers and he hasn't signed to the PS, or sign with anyone's PS. and you are contributing to it.The season really needs to start soon. Joe Milton is generating long topics that go 10, 20, even 30 pages or more.
no matter where he goes, its not a ton different. He needs to go where he has the best opportunity to get a shot:Schottenheimer was very vocal about wanting to bring him back if no one claimed him if he wants to return but my guess is his agent is seeing what options are available out there first.
If he can get more money, more guaranteed money and/or a better shot at QB2 or higher eventually then it may be a better opportunity for him.
I think he's trying to pick his best option. If he only got an offer from us, I think he would have re-signed already. Must be at least one other team involved. So I'm wondering why he hasn't been signed to our PS. Either he is butthurt about being cut or Dallas doesn't want him back. Agree, very interesting. As this day has gone on I'm surprised he didn't get claimed, and now I'm surprised it is 9:00 pm CT, 6 hours after be cleared waivers and he hasn't signed to the PS, or sign with anyone's PS. The CBA dictates the range for PS players, however a team can still sign the player to a contract that pays them a higher rate if/when they are elevated to the 53-roster during the season.from what I read, practice squad players all make the same amount.
