Joe Milton's Girlfriend Helping New Dallas Cowboys QB Study Offense

<Excerpt> "Milton has a unique way he learns a new offense. The traditional dry-erase board doesn’t work for him. He prefers a piece of tape and poker chips. The tape is the line of scrimmage and the poker chips have letters written on them to symbolize the different skill position players. He prefers moving the chips over having to erase the board," Machota writes.

"His girlfriend has the script. She calls out a play. Milton repeats it back. He then goes to his chips and lines them up in the formation. The plan is to do that every day during the month between the end of minicamp and the start of training camp." Read more
Wasn't last year's story was it Cooper bb or somebody was helping one of our centers and I believe it was their mom was fielding the snaps...???? So I guess it's not new you need some help someone close to you can help you....

when she calls out a play, and he starts lining up the chips...it is rumored that she says to him: please share your thoughts, Joey.

instead of tape and chips, they should pick up an old electric football game. Probably I am the only one here old enough to have played that as a kid. And I played for hours and hours!
Not even remotely close. I thought the old electric game was infuriating. This was much more fun...

I told everybody it’s teamwork. Lol.

Recognizing how he learns visually is intelligence
I guess if reading a book (playbook) becomes too tedious you resort to visuals. Whatever works best, I suppose.

I would be the first one to admit I have no problem trying to find YouTube videos to help me with a project like a lawnmower repair or something along that line. Its much easier having a visual reference than reading a manual and trying to decipher what it wants you to do.

I could see that being more efficient than a dry erase board and having to redo much of it.
