I know we suck. But, the Young guys on the OL have been battling their butts off. This guy has had the toughest job this year losing Tyron, Collins, and now Martin and he just keeps coaching them up. I have seen improvement from Steele, Knight, and McGovern. I wouldn’t mind keeping Knight and Steele around as backups. Biadasz also looked solid before getting injured. McGovern looks good, he should compete with C Williams for the starting position next year. Philbin is the one coach on the team that you can say is really coaching his group well, and you’re seeing development. I’m not saying they’ve had a great year but considering all the injuries and youth, they’ve made strides. We aren’t taking OL in the 1st no chance, Round 3 Comp.

Should have been posted in the main forum sorry.

Not living up to your namesake here. I also agree wholeheartedly. He's been one of the few bright spots on the coachinf staff. I really hope they can hold onto him for a while.

Philbon is cool but Bill Callahan was the better OL coach and haven't seen much success since Jerry Jones ran him off. Our Oline is a shell of itself and talent hasn't been development from keep Dallas from skipping a beat.

You're not wrong, but look at the tools Callahan had to work with vs Philbon. One had multiple future hall of fame caliber players to create an elite level of oline play, while the other has had multiple UDFA scrubs that probably don't make half the other rosters in the league and turned this oline into not a complete embarrassment. Both great achievements, but you have to adapt the grading scale. Philbon has been a remarkable hire. I'd love to see what this line looks like in 2021 with a healthy Collins or Smith, hopefully both.

Yall have to stop with this. The OL was elite in 15 and 16. It didnt start regressing until Tyron started to get injured and Fred getting Guillan Baire
