I played on the same team with him..was his roomate one year.Joe's a complicated guy..pretty ego oreinted..kinda a pretty boy. He knows a bit about playing OB, but the other 10 positions on the field..he's not very knowledgeable about. He always thought he was an entertainer. But as a regular guy..he's a pretty good guy.

He's not such a bad guy, even if he is a buffoon of a commentator. After LT snapped his leg, I sent him a get well letter, telling him I was a Cowboys fan, but I hoped he got better and the Commanders would go 14-2 next year. (I was young back then) He actually sent me a thank you card in return.

I live in D.C. I'm so tired of hearing stories about how great the Commanders were when he played for them. On top of that I think as a analyst he's over rated. I recall one time someone asked a question about cutting players at the end of training camp and hoping they would go on the practice squad. Theisman said they could just be added to the practice squad, and they didn't have to clear waivers first. I said to myself, he's got a radio show and he's a bonafide Moran.

I live in the area also and I must say, his show absolutely SUCKS. It's a luv fest for the Foreskins with zero substance. Even Foreskin fans call to complain about how he drolls all over them after a terrible performance. The guy is looking for work from the midget and sucks up to him every chance he gets. He's embarrassing after a loss......
