Didn't think Bosa was a realistic possibility just a few days ago until i heard we currently have the 3rd overall pick. Titans and Browns are the 2 teams picking ahead of us. In this mock the Titans trade back to a team wanting Lynch or Goff(can see the 49ers doing this on draft day) and the Browns take the QB that wasn't selected.

1st) Joey Bosa DE, Ohio State- Not much needs to be said. We all know what he can do on the football field. Very possible that we have Randy Gregory( possibly Greg Hardy as well) and Joey Bosa setting the edges and reeking havoc on Quarterbacks for years to come.

2nd) Su'a Cravens OLB/SS, USC- The more i watch tape on him, the more i want him on this team. A hybrid linebacker/safety that can take over down the line for Sean Lee as the Will. Long limbs, very physical and athletic, very smart and instinctive in defending the pass with a natural pair of hands to be a true play maker whenever a ball is thrown his way. He doesn't seem to have the size to play all 3 LB positions which could hurt his stock some and even drop him out of the 1st round(currently ranked 41 overall on CBS) but if he is their when we pick in the 2nd, i hope we take him.

3rd) Bralon Addison WR, Oregon- I'm liking this player the more i watch of him. He is undersized at 5'10 but he has the compact build, agility, evasiveness, natural hands, & hard to catch speed to be the playmaker we all want lining up opposite of Dez. He can play out on the outside and really stretch the field or he can make a big play out of the slot. can serves as our PR/KR as well as he has made some big plays for Oregon as their punt returner. I really want to say he can be the next Antonio Brown but its more likely that he is this years Tyler Lockett which is a player we all would be happy to have.

4th) Deon Bush S, Miami- Tall and rangy safety with the physicality and ballskills to play in NFL. Plays FS for Miami but projects better as a SS in the NFL due to lack of coverage skills. Doesn't have the build most teams are looking for to play strong safety ( 6'1 205 lbs) but he is very tough and physical when making the tackle ( forced 5 fumbles in a single season) Miami used him as a Blitzer, in run support, & played him in single high coverage. Hes not Jayron Kearse, Vonn Bell, or Jeremy Cash but he can be a better player then Wilcox or Church.

4th Comp) Antwaun Woods NT, USC- My later round pet cat this year. We need someone better then Hayden. I'm tired of seeing teams run the ball down our throats as well as focus on doubling Hardy or T Crawford all game because Hayden poses no threat to the QB or ball carrier at all. Woods is simply a good ole block eating & run stuffing Nose tackle who will do all the dirty work to free up T Crawford to make plays he was paid to make. And best of all u wont see him be put on skates or be laid out flat on his back every other play like our current 1 tech.
DAMN YOU GOLDEN COCK!!!!

I don't see a QB. I like Bosa. He or Goff would be my top pick. But if we got Bosa, no way should we bring back Hardy. We should invest that money somewhere else like secondary, interior D-line or LBer.

Yea i wanted to put Wentz with the 2nd pick but their is a great chance he will get snached up late in the 1st and i really dont like any of the QBS outside of Lynch, Goff, and Wentz. Everyone else seems to be have a ceiling of good backup. would rather just keep Cassel, take a impact player( like Cravens) and try my luck next year instead of reaching for a QB i dont like just to draft one.

Sound reasoning.

Dont think Cravens will be there, dont think they draft a 5:10 receiver in the 3rd.

Yea great chance Craven goes mid to late 1st but their are a few other Linebackers ahead in rankings so u never know and I think they could consider him seeing how he can contribute in the offense as well as return game.

When you pick top 5 and your QBs playing days are in question you better pick a QB if you want to be a contender

Although i agree with this, this mock is based off Lynch and Goff going 1st and 2nd while we stay picking 3rd. Nothing we can do if a team gives up a kings ransom for to jump ahead of us(very much a possibility on draft day) to take one of the 2. I would be open to trading our 2nd, 4th, and maybe a mid round pick in a upcoming draft for another 1st round pick to Get Wentz, but if u are wanting us to take a QB that is not Lynch or Goff with our 3rd overall pick then u are letting this horrific season turn u insane.

I agree. If Goff and Lynch are gone, you take Bosa without hesitation. Then you do all you can to trade back into the 1st to take Wentz. Though if Goff or Lynch are there, I'd take either of them (Goff first) over anyone.

When you have a chance to pick a player who may potentially come in and be a difference maker day one, while you starting QB still has at least two season left (by even the most modest prognosticators), you take that difference maker if you want to be a contender. Then go out and make sure you sign a quality back-up. Knee jerk suspected need picks don't make contenders. All they do is make a team look desperate. If Bosa is there and this team takes a QB, it's absolutely the wrong move.

All that said, I think Bosa is a lock to Cleveland. They've been burned by drafting QB's early and he is a hometown kid. I would look for them to trade back into the late 1st for Wentz.

I would have been with you at the start of this season. Seeing what romo gas gone through this year leads me to believe that there is a VERY slim chance he plays even a single complete season from here. The chances he plays 2 more years at a high level are remote

That is JMO

Monster. If we don't go QB, this is who I'd want. I think he goes top 2 at the end of the day though, possibly #1. If Dallas wins even one more game, they won't have a shot at him.

What does "want to be a contender" mean? Is it the same as "going all in"? Sure, you get Bosa now and you have a better chance at winning in Romo's final years. Then you have very little chance (if you haven't adequately addressed the QB position) at winning in the post-Romo era. Put JJ Watt on the Patriots and they go 19-0. Put JJ Watt on the Titans and they go 2-14. If you have your best opportunity to draft your next franchise QB, you take it. If Jerry wasn't constantly in "all in" mode, we might be a better team right now. That's not saying Lynch or Goff are the answer. But we should give them a fair evaluation to determine if they're the answer. We shouldn't not even consider QB because we can get Bosa or because Manziel might be available. And I think the time is now to address QB because we've seen guys have success who sat on the bench for 2-3 years (Romo, Rodgers, Rivers, and now Osweiler).
