Looking at articles on one Ricky Ray, who is the CFLs highest paid player (according to said articles) his salary is about 420,000 a year.

Harrington was set to receive a 1 mil roster bonus before he was cut. I'm pretty sure the veteran minimum is something like 700,000 dollars.

thanks! appreciate the info!

Shouldn't an NFL-caliber quarterback have thrown less interceptions in the CFL? After all, the pass defenses in the CFL aren't as dominate as the NFL's.
They throw much more in the CFL, friend. Do you know anything about that league?

I started this thread, sort of. I posted the link to the real news. I can't exactly take credit for the scoop.

I didn't throw a stupid comment out there, you did. The way I see it you're left with 3 choices. You can back up the he's unemployed nonsense by accepting a bet (which I have no doubt you won't pay up), you can skulk away like no one will remember (I will), or you can retract your own garbage and save us the trouble.
As of this minute, he's unemployed. Someone will pick him up. I don't see him heading to the CFL--at least not yet.

Why yes, yes I do deny that he led the CFL in passing. The ONLY thing he led the CFL in was in yardage. Oh, and in INTs. But most definitely he was NOT the CFL's leader in passing. The leader in a league's passing does not lead that league in INTs. The passing leader in most circles is the one with the best passer rating, which is not Ray Ray either. He does not lead in TDs thrown either. The only thing he leads in is INTs, and yardage. He is not NFL-level talentwise. That is why he has failed at both NFL locations he has had a shot at. Heck, he got beat out by QC in New York and he had been on the roster the entire season and TC whereas QC was only on the roster about 3 weeks before they inserted him in instead of FritoRay. get it thru your head, he sucks and will never play a down in the NFL.
Hey, genius. The CFL ranks their quarterbacks by yardage. Their criteria, not mine. Ray led the CFL in passing. You are wrong. What else is new?:lmao2:

Why is Ray a star in the CFL, and your boy Q was cut after a couple of days of training camp up there? Get that through your head. LOL

What kind of a BS league does that? How Mickey Mouse. In America, QBs are ranked by Passer rating. Ricky Ray sucks, No QB in any league, can both be a passing champion AND lead their league in INTs. He will never play a down in the NFL.

LOL. So they have to do things just like the NFL, right? I think you should email them and staighten them out. Ray's a good QB Dandy, to say otherwise just makes you look foolish. In case you hadn't noticed, there are some subtle differences between the two leagues. LOL

Ah so... that'll be your excuse. His 'NFL-level' accuracy is undercut by the number of passes he throws. The type of defenses he faces in the CFL has NOTHING to do with the number of INTs.

You are touting him for the NFL. We need to look at him as the NFL would look at him. If you do that, he is mediocre even for the CFL, he would never even get on the field in the NFL, even if the two QBs ahead of him were injured, ooops that has already proven true, in New York. My bad.

lmao

A passing champion can never lead the league in INTs. Throw in the fact that he isn't top three in TDs thrown, and it is easy to see that he is very mediocre.

ok, that still doesn't mean squat, you act like we're supposed to be impressed by that, and somehow, it matters in relation to being able to do that in the NFL, sorry, it doesn't have anything to do w/ the NFL and I'm not impressed
