ok i was watching part of the pro bowl, and they had joey porter on, asked him how do you turn a team from 1-15 to 11-5 etc

porter said parcells brought structure and like discipline to the team
the head coach didnt stand still he attacked on defense and offense
and the team bought into what parcells and the coaches were teaching and saying

something that the players or some of our coaches for the cowboys dont do
structure, discipline, trust

Are you trying to say Wade doesn't have an attacking defense?

It had nothing to do with a 4th place schedule .....
They were 2-6 against teams with .500+ records

They are headed in the right direction, but it was an inflated 11-5 record.

i said coaches,

remember till wade had to take over on defense by the tampa bay game, we were suffering some on defense like in the ram game

its all about attitude, discipline, something that wade lacks in getting from the whole team

granted, jason garrett didnt attack on offense either, or come up with new style offensive formations, after december of 2007 because teams had figured out the cowboys offense by december of 2007

and the special teams didnt attack either, they were passive, remember the blocked punt in the cardinal game?

that all goes back to the way of the head coach and his reserve laid back style in training camp, like the first 25 days of training camp, no hitting in practice

Read is fired. I doubt we struggle as much with DeCamillis and a healthy McBriar.

and if anything Garrett is criticized for attacking too much.

Sorry, your thesis is riddled with holes.

true they had a softer schedule too, and they wont win most likely as many games as they did last year, because now teams have a game plan on you and what you did

what you do, you dont stand still, you attack with new schemes,

to me the cowboys didnt do that, and when you dont hit in the first 25 days of training camp, your head coach is to blame for that

remember the cardinal players said, on special teams they could tell by the cowboys body language that they probably could hurt the cowboys on special teams and they did

the rams said that they could tell by the cowboys body language that if you got on top of them early, the cowboys would do what they did, and sure enough the rams killed the cowboys

in the game against the giants in new york, the big running back for giants said, players were screaming at each other on defense, adn you could tell they werent like together on defense, and we all saw how the giants killed us in new york last year,

that body language and style of laid back approach goes back to your head coach

john madden said the team takes on the personality of the head coach, and to me, you saw that at times, a laid back no intensity type approach

again, i said at the start, the coaches, i didnt single out wade

because garret was as much to blame, since garrett as we all know now runs the offense and wade has no control over garrett

that goes back to structure from the gm and what he allows

the head coach as you all know has to be in control

when he doesnt you have the problems we are having

I do not support keeping Wade on as head coach, but as far as Miami is concerned, talk to me when they win the big one.

That's also why I think the Cowboys record will be back up to 11-5+ next season. It should be an easier schedule.

i dont see it with the cowboys schedule this year,
Giants, eagles, Commanders all twice
Packers most likely a late game in frigid weather this year
Panthers, New Orleans, Tampa Bay whom we barely beat last year,
49ers- remember we all thought we would kill rams last year,
kansas city-Haley new head coach knows our players, you better believe he is going to attack flozell adams with a quicker guy
oakland, i think we can win this game
denver- a new head coach, beware of new head coaches

to me this is a tougher schedule than last year

Only two games out of the sixteen are based on last year's schedule. It doesn't have as much impact as it did before. Ease of schedule is more a luck of the draw now than it's ever been with different teams getting hot or cold all of a sudden.
