John Clayton: Giants Offer Not Good Enough For Hall...

John Clayton on NFL Live said that the Giants #31 pick in round one will not be enough to get Hall. He suggested a First and a third may get it done.

Clayton also mentioned that four other teams are interested. He said teams picking higher would have a better chance of getting Hall.

IMO, we have the most firepower, if we want to get Hall.

God no! Have you paid attention to all the negative stuff reported about him. He is overrated, confrontational, and just this side of a thug. In my opinion he should join Pacman on the outside looking in. :bang2:

Look, there is no question that signing Hall would improve our secondary, but at what cost? He's marginally a top ten CB in the NFL, if at all. He certainly doesn't deserved to be rewarded for running his mouth, which is exactly what will have happened if anyone give up more than a second for this guy. We shouldn't even be looking at FA CB's. The money these guys are getting these days is redonkulous.



THAT would be a sad day. Makes me ill thinking of it.


BTW, that top ten list is garbage, HHR31.

I really would prefer that Dallas stock up at CB in the draft this year as well. CB's are far too expensive and the cap situation is tight.....

I think that he's referring to the fact that he has Hall rated as number 3, and then Newman behind him at number 4. Not that he feels Newman at number 4 is too high

Maybe a change of scenery, playing for a winner would change his attitude. I would say he's about equal to Henry, when Henry is healthy, but when is Henry healthy?

Henry is also 32, Hall is what 24? Id give the 28th pick for him, MAYBE our third rounder also, but no way in hell should we give him the money he wants.
