John Fitzgerald RIP

Rayfield Wright BTW since he was mentioned above by another poster, we a cross between Tyron Smith and Erik Williams. Dude played a long time and was nasty on the field but off it, I've read story's about how great a person he was/is. The guy could have played probably another couple years after 1979. He took care of his body. He doesn't get enough mention. For a dude that weighed 260 and was 6' 6" tall , that's incredible longevity. He played from 1967-1979 but could have played until 1981 IMHO. We fans have recency bias.

From a Center to a Center...

Thank you for everything you did to anchor that 70s Cowboys offensive line and help win many games and a championship. Forever grateful.

What an Outstanding Description of the Great Rayfield Wright.Agree with Your putting that combo of Big E and Tyron Smith with Him.That is who He was.

He stood out as a Leader on those Teams and was held in high regard by Coach Landry,His Teammates,Coaches and Opponents for all he brought on and off the field.
