Just think about it. John Gruden took over Tony Dungey's Bucs and led them to a Super Bowl win his first year. John Gruden uses the 3-4 defense. John Gruden wakes up at 3:00 am designing offensive schemes. He's flashy and well knowed. He is also the last NFC coach to win the Super Bowl. Parcells built the team and think John Gruden would take it all the way.

Are you serious? Gruden took Dungy's team and Dungy's philiosophies and won, big, big surprise.

even if he was available,NO WAY IN HELL. The man's playcalling would drive us bananas. Everytime his team is down by more than one score he completely abandons the run. No. No. No.

grudens knock is that he's good because he promises a lot and people love what he's promising. trouble is, he's what i hear a "habitual liar" - so after 3 years or so people are tired of it. in all, he's not exactly kept tampa competitive, has he?

 exactly...Hell No......just shoot me now...i rather have quincy carter as head coach before him...

hed run us in the ground..especially with his cover 2 Defense

I brought his name up yesterday and got the same thoughts.

He doesn't run the 3-4 defense either. Wow reading that post actually hurt my brain.

Gruden is a high energy, in your face coach that BP was not in the last couple of years in Dallas. He is the type of coach that can bring a team over the edge.

I would take him over Cowher any day of the week.

Remember, Tampa had problems because the Glazers gave up too much in draft picks to acquire him from the Raiders.

So you're suggesting we do the same thing and give draft picks to the Bucs for him?

he won the SB with Dungy's team not to mention playing against his old team that he knew inside and out. No way give me Singletary
