Wow I had no idea!John McAfee, the tech innovator whose name is synonymous with antivirus software, died by suicide on Wednesday hours after a court approved his extradition from Spain to face U.S. tax evasion charges, officials said.
you know he knew ALOT of @#$%.very sad indeed. too many after him
Yes ma'am........nailed it.The eccentric entrepreneur w/an outlaw persona.
You should appreciate this then!...Wow...I've used his antivirus software...I never liked it because it would try to take over everything on my desktop...plus when you removed or deleted the program, it would always pop back up in one form or another.....but now I'm interested in who he was as a person...I guess I'll do a little research.
There was actually a third-party utility that you needed to fully uninstall McAfee. His antivirus program had things in common with virus programs.
He was ousted from his company in the early 90s. Before Windows 95 if I remembering correctly.
That early. He had a bizarre life. He got rich off an antivirus program that was mediocre at best and quite invasive on systems. It did catch malware, so it was better than nothing, but a lot of other programs were better.
