I remember reading a story about Snyder a while back. He had some people working on his house, and he wouldn't acknowledge their existence. They were only allowed to talk to his assistant who was standing right by him. I'm glad he's getting all this negative publicity.

Its a classic sympton of a little guy who inherited his wealth and thinks he is above everyone else because of it. Needs his *** kicked plain and simple.

"This morning when I came in, and I turned my computer on and I was looking at Pro Football Talk, and I saw comments that John Riggins made about Mr. Snyder. And it really bothered me, the more I sat there at my desk," Blache started.
And the next head coach of the Washington Commanders is... :laugh2:

This is why fans shouldn't own teams. They're too impulsive and emotional.

Actually, he didn't inherit it, he earned it himself.

That's the one good thing I will say about the guy.

Ok, Riggins, the player, is still in my top 5 most hated list.....but Riggins, sports analyst, gotta give the man a high 5 and many kudos for his candid take. He is spot on.

Of course he has a vested interest. He gave his heart and soul to that organization when he played there. They were one of the elite franchises in football during his tenure with the Skins.

Little Napolean Dynamite has come along and imploded that organization from the inside out. He is nothing more than a 4ft tall, tapeworm-infested turd.

Kind of like that clown that owns the Dallas franchise in the Association

I love me some Riggo, and I think Snyder is a bum. However, Riggo was way out of line on this one. If he knows Snyder did something to obtain the "black heart" label, then spill the beans, or shuttup. But don't sit there and say he has a dark heart because his football team stinks.

Totally classless by riggo. Grow up.

Wow. Listening to it is very different from reading it. Riggins is being completely honest in how he feels about. I don't know Snyder from a hole in the wall so I can't say, but Riggins is telling it as he sees it and he makes some good points.

Seriously, the Commanders are a perennial after thought, while I focus on NY and Philly as competition. I never expect them to be an obstacle and that perception is driven by fact. The Commanders suck mightily and it all starts with personnel decisions.

I'll probably always rag on Jones, but I'd take him over Snyder in a heartbeat. I hope I never have to witness such a thing as a Cowboys fan. It's enough to make you abandon a great past time and find other ways to fill your autumn Sundays. Without the Cowboys football would be almost meaningless to me.

He's probably impelled by the feelings we as fans sometimes feel and feels he's in position to at least say what many can, but without having some sort of actual effect. I don't think he's being simply crass, he honestly believes he's right. That doesn't make him right, but I don't think his saying what he feels is that simple: a product of being mean or classless.

He honestly wants to see the Commanders get better and the path as he sees it is in no way the right one and the leader is in no way inclined to change course. He's frustrated.

Thats all well and good, but to describe someone as basically as "evil" is just not right, unless he knows something really heinous that Snyder did or does.

If Riggo would have come out and said Snyders incompetant, stupid, dumb, etc etc, that would have been find in a football sense, but to describe him as being evil and having a black heart is just wrong to me.

There is a huge line between being evil and being an incompetant GM.

Why? If that's how interprets Snyders actions, why call it something other than what he thinks it is? Snyders moves are obviously calculated and not at all a product of simple stupidity. If his actions are intentional then maybe they are grounded in something more than ignorance. No need to sugar-coat it and chalk to him not knowing better.

Well then if Riggo equates running a horrible football team to having a black heart, then Riggo is a flat out idiot.

How does anyone interpret being dumb at football to having a black heart? When most people think of people with dark hearts, they think Charles Manson, Hitler, George Bush (ok, I just had to throw that one in for laughs since they closed the political forum), not idiots who are meddlesome and run football teams into the ground.

The comparisons aren't even close.

If you listen to the interview, it's obvious he's not restricting it to football operations. Unethical business practices are not the product of an ignorant man, they're intentionally immoral.

Like I said, I don't know Snyder or how he conducts business, but Riggo might and he's basing it on that.
