While I agree with your post, 2006 called and wants its Brittany Spears reference back. By all accounts she's doing pretty well in Vegas with her regular shows. Hopefully Manziel can turn it around the same way

Unfortunately for him he is not in a profession that allows him to waste years of his life being an idiot.

She can screw up and be done for 3-5 years and rebound and make a nice living at what she's doing. He won't be able to. Once he's flamed himself out of the NFL in a few years he'll be selling cars in his home town or something.

But at the very least maybe he won't be killing himself with his reckless stupidity.

His family is very wealthy from the oil biz, wouldn't be surprised if Jerry knows his dad or grandad. Probably part of the reason for his lack of motivation in trying to make it in the NFL. He knows he.ll be just fine financially

BTW, his domestic abuse case went to the grand jury the day before yesterday. Indications are that he will be indicted. Word could come as soon as Monday.

Would anyone be shocked if on opening day, #2 runs out of the tunnel as the back to Tony Romo? I don't see it happening, but He could go to rehab, be out in 45 days, Jerry signs him, brings him to camp and he becomes the heir apparent to Romo.
