What a mess this team has become since Nolan was booted.

He must be laughing pretty hard right now . . . . .

The Rangers seem to have lost their direction.

The Fielder trade looked bad from the get go.

And the Choo signing... Well signing any 30+ is questionable.

And their best hitter is 36.

But the real killer has been the injuries, which of course they have no control over.

I don't see them doing anything this season and by the time the are headed back in the positive direction the Astros are going to be the "bullies" of the division.

This team is like the "Yankees" of the Midwest. An old, expensive team that needs to shed some of its bad contracts and rebuild.

Yeah, no question he can help their offense some.

But he's not going to make much of difference overall.

Nothing long term. And even short term, when will he be able to play, June?

Im glad he's back with TX, but its a desperation move.

Eh, Josh is back and it's for 3years at 15mil. Not a bad deal really.
What killed the Rangers more so than anything else has been injuries. Losing Kinsler, Cruz, Hamilton and not being able to replace their production has been killer ( Profar missing two years, outfield replacements subpar, etc...)

Rotation actually has a chance to be decent by mid season with Gallardo, Martinez, Perez, Holland and Lewis. Hopefully the team isn't out of it by then.
