Jon Kitna's Comments at halftime

We needed every bit of that luck today.
Thinking back on those calls the PI's, the Cowboys probably did get the benefit of the doubt because on both occasions the defenders looked to be playing the ball. Most of the time Dallas doesn't even get the benefit of the doubt.

Dallas did get luck with Barbers fumble in the first half. I don't know how they could say that it was for sure Dallas' ball when everyone got up off the pile and a Lion's player was holding the ball, but I'll take it, like I said it's about time Dallas got some calls. Traditionally the good teams get the calls over the bad teams and it's been that way for decades!

I am not sure how many people listen to the radio call of the game but Kristie scales said Pam Oliver came over to her at halftime and told her this..

Apparently Jon Kitna ran up to oliver on the way to the locker room and said "the league wants Dallas to win and the officials do to, we had two PI's not called because of it"

NUts all the whining from players who actually think their are consipiracies as to who is going to win. Its funny he sounded like alot on this board talking about the pats game last week.

Just thought I would add. I found it comical.

why put down your fellow zoners man

all it takes is one ref to see that a Cowboy had it at one point while down. Once they see that it doesnt matter if someone wrestles it from him. That must happen often and usually the refs cant see whats going on in there.

True.

But you can't run THROUGH the receiver, when the receiver has established his position.

yes that is true, you cannot run through the reciever, they collided going for the ball. So that is a moot point.

That is incorrect. Johnson had position, and Watkins came through his right shoulder. It was technically pass interference.
