I understand the performers for these halftime shows work "for free". How is it it's only one type of music that does so?! Not so. Last year's Superbowl halftime show was for the 50 plus old school crowd sort of speak. Dre, Snoop Dogg Kendrick Lamar three titans of Los Angeles rap took the field at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., along w/Eminem (a superstar from Detroit), the singer Mary J. Blige & the special guest 50 Cent to deliver a halftime spectacular heavy on nostalgia & California pride.

I doubt very highly "teenage girls" ever even heard of them lol.

I don't know. That was just one year. Before that they had Moron 5 on twice, katie perry, Gaga, and timberlake. I'd say the NFL is marketing halftime shows to 12 year old girls almost exclusively.

My momma, God rest her soul, was a fabulous baker. She made homemade pie crusts that were out of this world. The kitchen was always filled with cookies, pies and homemade treats when she was still with us. Miss her everyday.

I remember back before they started doing the salvation army celebration for halftime, the entertainment was baby races. Jonas Brothers vs Baby races? I miss those baby races. lol
