Not that it will affect are current position at #9, but he could slip somewhere in between that pick and our 2nd round pick and push a quality player to us.

Baldwin ran a 4.45 today which should quell any doubts about his speed.

He measured in at 6'4 3/8" and 228 lbs with 10 1/8" hands.

I think he's the best blocking WR in the draft and I'm not just saying that because he's one of the biggest. He displays superb effort and tenacity when blocking that is an additional asset to any team that drafts him.

Austin Pettis looks amazing out there catches everything I wouldn't mind picking him up as a slot guy

I like Austin Pettis more than most guys. He's versatile in that he plays special teams and even holds for FGs. I think he could be an upgrade to Sam Hurd at some point.

Having said that, I've seen him drop 3-4 passes already (two straight in the crossing route drill).

*He just made a beautiful grab on the corner post drill....

Greg Salas is the name.

6'1.1" 210 lbs
4.56 (forty)

He actually looks like he could be faster if he sheds 5-10 lbs. Caught a lot of balls at Hawaii. I'm not sure if he played on special teams or not.

Someone's been reading my posts.

He's not super fast. He's crafty, gets open, and catches everything. Perfect slot guy.

I'm pimping Denarius Moore from Tenn as a slot option for us, ran a high 4.3

I agree. He would make a great slot wr.

Baldwin is a guy that needs to learn more than a couple of routes.

Also do not spend a upper pick on him because he is a diva that has a me first attitude and turned some people on his own team because of it.

Would not touch this guy before the 4th.

Baldwin was a guy I was really interested to see, because of his size/speed. I came away unimpressed. I don't think he can run routes, didn't think much of his hands, and have doubts about his career going forward. I think he's pretty far from being a useful NFL receiver. He could do it, but, IMO, he's got a LOT of work to do.

Julio Jones on the other hand... Wow. He may not be as good as Green now, but in two or three years? IMO, he's easily got the most upside of the receivers coming out this year.
