I’m probably in the minority here, but I don’t want one RB that’s clearly better than the others we have.

I’d rather not count on that for a few reasons. Give me three guys that are interchangeable.

It’s covers you against injuries and holdouts.

Liked Jones a great deal in TB . KC was forgettable . I think this is a solid pick up . Hope Malik Davis is around to spell either one of the main backs. RB by committee MM .

Just for the fun of it. The great Emmitt Smith went 241 for 937 and 11TD's his rookie year.

He also didn't start for several games because he tried holding out for more money and Jimmy sat him on the bench during the first few games of the season to teach him a lesson, one would suppose.

Yes, his rookie year. Jerry held firm on not paying him 3 million a year in 1993. He sat out two games that Dallas lost.

But his rookie year at least the first two games he did not start.

2020 Ronald Jones went 192 for 978yds and 7 TD's (when he was given a load) ( Did he fall out of favor?)

2022 Pollard went 193 for 1007 yds and 9 TD's

Both 25years old.

We just replaced the horrid zeke with a veteran minimum.

Yup like i said, youre drafting these 2 combo's are available take your pick of which one does better

you can draft Zack Martin in the 1st and TP in the 4th OR

you can draft Barkley in the 1st to run behind McGovern in the 3rd

It’s the same with off ball linebackers. If your Mike isn’t stuffing the run because he’s doing the NT’s job five yard upfield, that’s probably just a stupid scheme or stupid roster building.

Nothing against running backs or LBs. The point is that these guys are only as effective as the lines in front of them, and if a professional football team is throwing good money after bad in that way, then it’s probably not the fans’ fault and they’re probably not just “haters” or whatever. The team is just being stupid.
