That's what they fill holes with, JAGS. Whatever they can't get in the draft, in come the scrubs and has beens to fill in the holes. Those guys are JAGS. Be honest.

CD Lamb worked out pretty wellThe jones boys and McClay can’t evaluate talent. That’s why they keep taking offensive lineman. It’s a safe pick. They are afraid to take a chance on a skill player. We needed a Running Back. If they don’t pick one in the second round we know they had no plan.
Those trades were to add depth with players that can also step in right away. Those trades are seen similar to the FAs we get. Breece Hall would be a quality trade. But quality trades cost picks or players. Quality FAs cost a lot of money. They don't want to give up either.
You must be a youngster who have never seen a superbowl. I use to share your enthusiasm 30 plus years ago.
If you go into the draft deciding you are just going to pick RB no matter what you deserve it when you end up with a player like a Taco or a Trysten Hill. Great players help teams regardless of the position, plus this team has so many holes that it would be hard to take a guy who didn't fill a need. You can watch the War Room and tell if it's fake joy or real joy. That was not a group of coaches who felt their owner and head scout just made a safe pick and had no plan. You can disagree with the actual player taken, but IMO what I want more than anything is to know the team took a guy that they loved and not a guy they felt filled the biggest hole. Round 1 for me the Jones Boyz and crew get a big thumbs up. That is what the draft is about and especially for teams that aren't one player away from a SB like usThe jones boys and McClay can’t evaluate talent. That’s why they keep taking offensive lineman. It’s a safe pick. They are afraid to take a chance on a skill player. We needed a Running Back. If they don’t pick one in the second round we know they had no plan.
That is your opinion. So be it.No they have no drafted well, really beyond offensive linemen. McClay is so overrated
You mean the guy who has not spent a first round pick in 36 years, on the most valuable position in football, cannot evaluate talent?Jones can't evaluate talent
Gyuton is a major bust so far. He was benched during the season and he cant be used inside as Smith for instance.Guyton is not a bust, nor do they think that.
The Cowboys have made it crystal clear since the day they hired Schotty that the running game is going to change and be a big emphasis from now on. They went out and got 2 new OL coaches and now have added a monster OG. All they are doing is following through on what they said. You are just looking for something to complain about. The jones boys and McClay can’t evaluate talent. That’s why they keep taking offensive lineman. It’s a safe pick.
Yeah they lucked into him. Just like getting Dez and parsons was luck. They fell to them. PeriodCD Lamb worked out pretty well
I wouldn’t have taken a RB at 12. Booker is a good player. I probably wouldn’t have taken him at 12 myself but he’s played against done good defenses and done well. I would have taken grant but mazi is probably why he wasn’t even cobsideredYou do know it was only the 1st round, and it is a deep RB class.
So true.No they have no drafted well, really beyond offensive linemen. McClay is so overrated
This is 100% accurate and true. The jones boys and McClay can’t evaluate talent. That’s why they keep taking offensive lineman. It’s a safe pick. They are afraid to take a chance on a skill player. We needed a Running Back. If they don’t pick one in the second round we know they had no plan.
I had the same thought. This move is hedging against Guyton not making it as a pro. They can still move Tyler Smith to LT, Booker to LG, and Hoffman to RG if Guyton flops again. You can build the trenches in free agency. They had already picked up a veteran guard and they still got Hoffman. All this pick does is tell me they regard guyton has a bust. Jerry said it last night. When he said this increases the chances of a solid oline.
Still what he says is true. The Cowboys have made it crystal clear since the day they hired Schotty that the running game is going to change and be a big emphasis from now on. They went out and got 2 new OL coaches and now have added a monster OG. All they are doing is following through on what they said. You are just looking for something to complain about.
