Once again, I think Jerry's hearing failed him. They asked him about Trayvon Martin.

I wish Jerry would shut the **** up.......this team wont change until he is gone. Looking forward to another 8-8 or possibly 7-9.

I remember Jerry thinking Quincy Carter would be the Cowboys version of Donavan McNabb.

I remember Jerry thinking Claiborne was the next deion.

So far that's proven to be another kiss of death from Jerry. I just wish he would stop drinking and shut up. I think he even mentioned Felix Jones and Tony Dorsett in the same sentence back in 08.

If he'd have said Dwayne Harris, it still would've been a reach but I could kinda see it in terms of impact as a punt returner and in the passing game (albeit very limited).

Dunbar though? Nope, he's just a change-of-pace RB.

Done get me wrong, I want Dunbar to have a great career for the Cowboys, but for now, he is nothing more than a change of pace back up running back and they are dime a dozen.

I'm really starting to wonder about this Dubar hype. I just don't see it.

Perhaps you forgot about this.

& this..

Oh..& it doesn't hurt to have a little of this.

The guy just has to hold onto the ball. I know you haven't been asleep at the wheel Baz.

Dunbar can be a player if he figures this fumbling thing out. It doesn't matter how much ability you have if you a turnover risk all the time. 2 fumbles in his last 3 touches dating back to the preseason isn't something you can risk even if he is a "playmaker"

I agree with you my friend. I know we cannot risk the ball security, but in my opinion, this is what the Cowboys' poor running game needs. We need to try a back that is fast and shifty...a guy like Sproles, Reggie Bush etc. If there are any other oldtimers like me....2 similar guys from a long time ago...Greg Pruitt and Terry Metcalf. I used this example before...we need to try a back that is one of those that has carries that look like this for yardage: -1, 0, -3, 0, 16, 0, -2, 0, -1, 54.

Go Jerry. More humor when people like you get upset over opinions.

My problem is that there are so many of these types of running backs almost every team has one. The only reason why we are stunned by Dunbar is
1. Because we got so used to Felix Jones and him being labeled a quick speedster and now from him looking so bad he makes Dunbar look so good
2. Because it took us 15 years but we now finally understand that there is some value to this type of change of pace running back

I am with you though, there are a ton of Lance Dunbars in the NFL.........there aren't many Adrian Petersons though

Yes, Dunbar = Austin. Clearly an unheralded UDFA without a single explosive play in a regular season game = a 1st round draft pick.

Jerry is the reason we are always an 8-8, 9-7 team.
