The rookie would cost approx 9 times less on the cap next year. I'll live with the difference and get some players for my Defense. My problem is his contract not his productivity in regular season games in November.

Did I miss even one decent playoff run? I'm glad he did well for you fantasy team but he has not accomplished jack when it counted. A huge waste of money and talent. Sorry he was a somewhat sympathetic figure before this contract now he is simply an obstacle to this team rebuilding.
