Really idiot...really???

And what page would that be...helping build teams in to contenders and to Super Bowl berths, or the one where we get blown out in the last game of the year and cannot sniff a post season win in 12...

Jerry gets stupider every time he speaks...

Sorry my frustration with the owner's comments outweighed my grammar check...

It certainly is a good point though. an incorrect word/phrase is by far more important than what our idiot owner's said...

Do you think that Jerry just might could have meant that he and Reeves weren't on the same page.... about the hours Dan would work? You know... the sticking point that blew the whole deal? Particularly since Jerry said everything else was just fine?

But to you, it means that Jerry really doesn't want to win a championship?

I don't mean to disagree with you, and please don't come to my work... but he probably was talking about the time clause thingy.

Jones also spoke about the failure to reach an agreement with Dan Reeves. The former Cowboys player who coached Denver and Atlanta to the Super Bowl was set to join the team as a consultant before the deal fell through at the last minute.

“I think a lot of him and really respect him, but it doesn’t surprise me,” Jones said. “What happened frankly was the process kind of evolved and it became apparent to me that we weren’t on the same page.”

I think he means the page where Dan Reeves wanted TO gone, and Jerry doesn't. Or maybe the page where Jerry wanted to hire Dan Reeves as a figurehead for some credibility, but Reeves wanted more.

It's easy to see that Jones wanted more from Reeves' employment than Reeves did.

"not on same page" translation from Jerry:

"I'm a bumbling fool and Dan isnt"

Better translation: If Dan came in here and corrected this, that would be the 3rd time a football person showed that I was an idiot!!!

How did Jerry actually get rich? Was he rich and just got filthy rich or what? I just can't use the word stupid about Jerry. But I understand the frustration with him just fine.

he took risks and struck it rich, he pretty much gambled on which oil sites would strike it rich

not saying he's dumb, but it's not like he designed a computer program to get rich

I don't think he is stupid at all. In fact he is a heck of a salesman and marketing person. One of the best in the business.

This football thing tends to elude him though....
