Saw that Jordan stayed, didn't know about Bubba.
Miami is supposed to be very good next year so maybe he wanted to be a part of that; maybe he's gunning to be Safety #1 in the 2022 class (he won't be, that's Notre Dame's Kyle Hamilton by a mile).
Dang...I was a fan of Davis. One less quality DT prospect to choose from.

I get it.Thought Bubba could have been one of our guys in the 3rd....if we don't go safety early. Bummer.....but for him...it's probably the right decision. He could be a higher pick next year.

Make no mistake about it, there is talent to be had in this draft on the interior of the DL. We’ve ignored it for so long that you have no choice to invest in it. And you don’t have to spend a 1st round pick. But there most certinly will be guys available in round 2 and after that can help this team. We don’t have a lot of options in FA.
