Again though...division rival. We had to have been their last choice for a destination for him. Can't tell me they weren't shopping him to any other teams in need and those teams apparently all passed on what is basically a free look. That's odd.

Well, it isn't like teams were fighting to sign him as a free agent, either. I think the Giants' view of it was that they weren't going to keep him so might as well get something out of him. Clearly, they are not very worried about how he'll play against them, though.

I completely agree. They they are not very good at this. 36 wins over the last 3 years. that's an embarrassment. Imagine if they were just mediocre. Like the giants. I can only imagine if Dallas cowboy fans were forced to be Carolina Panthers fans for one year. The suicide rates would be off the chart.

This was my thought as well. And they had a chance to get something for him instead of nothing.

I can see a trade with Washington sending Mukaumu for a player or draft pick. Just a wild guess.

True, But Gints DL was better than us in thelast few years , so hopefully he was not that bad
