Was evaluated for concussion symptoms. Big issue for him so far in his career. Believe this would be his 6th. Skins fans are worried it could be a career ender.

It's his fifth concussion. And yeah. that was a major concern I had with giving him a massive contract when he's a health risk. Probably a top 3 TE in the league, maybe even the best with injuries slowing Gronk down. But none of that matters if he can't remember the playbook after another concussion or two.

There has to be a point as a player where the rest of my life matters more to me. It sucks, even though I hate the team, I don't wish I'll health for any player.

Not going to disagree witih your assessment of Reed. But to say he has had 5 concussions and then mentioning another concussion or two makes me question how many is too many. Forget the playbook, at some point the team needs to decide that he has had enough before he can't remember how to tie his shoe laces.

Washington post Article said:
But for teammates who have grown close to Reed these past four seasons, such as Pro Bowl left tackle Trent Williams, the concern centered on his long-term health, given that this is the fifth diagnosed concussion and at least the sixth overall of Reed’s football career. Now 26, Reed previously acknowledged that he didn’t report symptoms of one of two concussions he suffered his rookie season in Washington.

Jordan Reed is a beast --- gotta respect that man ! Just hope he seriously makes the right decision regarding his long term health for personal reasons. If he goes out like this it would suck but even if he was a cowboy I wouldn't blame him for walking away.
