Jordan Reid mock 1/7/25

Nothing against Jeanty but he is more of a final piece.

This team is NOT a RB away but agree that there’s no way Jerry passes. Too much marketing potential, but I’m sure he does actually think they are one player away.

Build from the outside in. Outsmart the league.

Oh and your star RB is rendered fairly moot when you’re down by 2-3 scores. Invest in the DLine hard and find a RB later.

I agree, but cannot see the Cowboys passing him up, especially with a need and value of the pick.
There is no way Jerry, Stephen, and the marketing department is gonna pass on a local kid that will sell a bunch jerseys. I will say this he would an explosive offensive player that the offense desperately needs. So he would improve the team. I see Gibbs so I could live with that.

That would be a perfect trade down spot. I like Starks- a bunch.

It’s like Brooks to me. I know Brooks went round 2, but I just don’t see him lasting to 12.

Some random team like the Browns or Raiders will snag him.
Yeah and Brooks was coming of an ACL injury and his tape wasn’t anywhere close to Jeanty. Someone will take Jeanty in the top 10 unfortunately or fortunately.

He could go in the top 10, but he might not. You could have 2 qbs and 2 or 3 olinemen go in the top 10.

Yeah it looks like two quarterbacks are not getting out of the top 10 maybe even top two picks.

I'm gonna be pissed if we pick a rb at 12.
Not a, it's Jeanty and he would be bpa and fill a big need. We just need him or whoever we pick to stay healthy. A healthy Jeanty could be one of the best players in the league.

Jeanty is a fine prospect but it’s a hard no for me at 12. Rico literally just proved that an average back can get 1,000 yards (would have had more if not for the ridiculous Zeke experiment). Just too rich to take any RB at 12

I think by the time of the draft you will see one or two more QB's moving up into the first round.

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward QB Miami
2. Cleveland Browns - Shedeur Sanders QB Colorado
3. New York Giants - Travis Hunter WR/CB Colorado
4. New England Patriots - Kelvin Banks Jr. T Texas
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Will Johnson CB Michigan
6. Las Vegas Raiders - Abdul Carter EDGE Penn St.
7. New York Jets - Mason Graham DT Michigan
8. Carolina Panthers - Mykel Williams EDGE Georgia
9. New Orleans Saints - Tetairoa McMillan WR Arizona
10. Chicago Bears - Will Campbell T/G LSU
11. San Francisco 49ers - Shemar Stewart DL Texas A&M

12. Dallas Cowboys - Ashton Jeanty RB Boise St.
Rico Dowdle was solid for the Cowboys, rushing for 1,079 yards this season. But he's a pending free agent, and good players should never keep a franchise from drafting great players. Jeanty qualifies as great, as his 2,601 rushing yards were the second-most all-time in the FBS. He also scored 29 touchdowns on the ground and has great contact balance (1,733 yards after contact) and an ability to break tackles at 215 pounds. He has the potential to be a gamechanger in Dallas.

13. Miami Dolphins - Malaki Starks S Georgia
14. Indianapolis Colts - Tyler Warren TE Penn St.
15. Atlanta Falcons - Jalon Walker EDGE/LB Georgia
16. Arizona Cardinals - Josh Simmons T Ohio St.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - James Pearce Jr. EDGE Tennessee
18. Seattle Seahawks - Josh Conerly Jr. T Oregon
19. Pittsburgh Steelers - Shavon Revel Jr. CB East Carolina
20. Houston Texans - Jonah Savaiinaea T/G Arizona
21. Denver Broncos - Luther Burden III WR Missouri
22. Los Angeles Rams - Colston Loveland TE Michigan
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jihaad Campbell LB Alabama
24. Green Bay Packers - Trey Amos CB Mississippi
25. Los Angeles Chargers - Kenneth Grant DT Michigan
26. Washington (Red)skins - Emeka Egbuka WR Ohio St.
27. Philadelphia Eagles - Nic Scourton EDGE Texas A&M
28. Buffalo Bills - Derrick Harmon DT Oregon
29. Minnesota Vikings - Walter Nolen DT Mississippi
30. Baltimore Ravens - Tyler Booker G Alabama
31. Kansas City Chiefs - Armand Membou T/G Missouri
32. Detroit Lions - Mike Green EDGE Marshall
Another Rookie ZEKE to carry everyone know who and why.
It will make Zero difference as they used to say STOP ZEKE and WIN now it will be STOP Jeanty and WIN!
