I’ve seen this asked a couple times. Why can’t they both play? There are usually 3-4 LBs on the field. And we don’t know if Rodriguez will succeed. He’s a serving round pick, not top 10

They know like everyone that a physical is subjective to the individual team. And if a team wants to find a way to fail a player, they can. And Baltimore did because they had a change of heart and wanted to keep their two 1st round picks.

I think what they’ll get is a better draft pick.

Maybe the difference between a 4th rounder before and a 2nd rounder after.

Brooks has no fully guaranteed compensation in 2028 or 2029. He basically signed a 2 year deal. Only 35mil guaranteed. He signed a pretty team friendly deal.

So we would have a contract dispute in less than two years and we know how those summer goes… pass
